LOCAL | Eulogy Of Dead 201 Poplar Inmate To Be Given by Rev. Al Sharpton

The eulogy of Ramon McGhee, the Shelby County Jail inmate who was pronounced dead after being found in his cell deemed in poor condition, will be given by Reverend Al Sharpton on Tuesday.

The memorial service will be held at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church on March 5 around noon.

According to his autopsy reports, McGhee had “severe body insect infestation”. That was the same thing the family claimed when they said he was found with bed bugs and lice when he was transported to the hospital from 201 Poplar.

Famed attorney Ben Crump will also be in attendance as he will be representing the family in court.
