Customers for MLGW should expect to continue to see their bills be rough estimates, all this according to MGLW in a statement.
On their statement, they clarified that meter repairs that aren’t showing accurate measures are still being worked on and until then, still have to estimate gas and water usages.
There have been some frustrated customers who have exposed their bills, some being over $1,000.
They did update customers that their repairs have shown progress but are still undergoing tweaks.
“Last year, MLGW found gas and water meter register malfunctions affecting our ability to send impacted
customers a timely bill,” the press release explained. “The solution to repair the water meters appears to be working and is currently being evaluated for any failures. We will continue to fix any failed water meter registers.”
