The man arrested for the shooting outside of a Jewish school in East Memphis last year has posted bond, court records show.
On Tuesday morning a $200,000 bond released Joel Bowman, the accused shooter, and will be closely tracked by a GPS and absolutely prohibited from traveling and having access to firearms.
This all comes after a shooting outside of Margolin Hebrew Academy last summer when Bowman was seen trying to enter the school.
He also fired two shots at a contract worker outside of the school, however there were no injuries reported.
He was charged with attempted second-degree murder, possession of a weapon in a dangerous felony, reckless endangerment, carrying a weapon on school property, and assault on a first responder when he pointed a gun at police when he was approached following the shots.
