According to authorities, a man was killed when gunfire broke out early on Tuesday morning close to American Way and Lamar Avenue.
The victim was deceased when police arrived at the scene of the shooting shortly before 4:30 a.m.
According to the police, they said a dark-colored SUV was characterized as the suspect vehicle which fled the area.
No other information was made public.
