Covington Police are looking for several people after they believe fireworks may have set fire to a property.
A house on the 700 block of Best Street caught fire. Due to suspected smoke inhalation, a woman and her kid were removed and transported to the hospital.
Three adults and three children, the youngest of whom was nine months old, made up the entire number of occupants in the house.
Prior to the incident, the homeowners claimed to have heard a tremendous explosion, possibly from fireworks.
