The network systems of Southwest Tennessee Community College have been affected by a cyber incident that has been discovered.
They claim that this problem goes beyond the server issue that was first brought to the college’s attention on July 3.
The college claims in a statement that they are actively collaborating with computer forensics specialists to “restore full functionality to the computer system as soon as possible” and “thoroughly investigate the incident to determine its full scope.”
STCC will carry on with remote study and work. Classes and registration for the Summer II Term will not begin until Monday, July 15, and will remain open until July 19.
