Funeral arrangements have been made for fallen Memphis Police Officer Demetrice L. Johnson. He lost his life on Friday, August 2, 2024, in a collision in Downtown Memphis.
The wreck at Danny Thomas and Mississippi boulevards occurred a little after 3a.m.
When police arrived, they discovered a Nissan and an MPD squad car had collided. The driver of the Nissan was also declared deceased.
The visitation services will be at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church on August 14, from 4p.m.-7p.m. and on August 15, from 10a.m.-11a.m.
For the funeral, that will also occur at Oak Grove MBC on August 15, at 11a.m.
