LOCAL | Hardeman County Commissioner Arrested For Chop Shop Operation

Following his arrest, a county commissioner from Hardeman County, Tennessee, was charged with 13 charges of theft ranging and running a chop shop.

Records from the sheriff’s office show that Joseph Jenkins was taken into custody on Monday and is being detained on a $50,000 bond at the Hardeman County Jail.

Jenkins is listed as a District 1 commissioner on the building, police enforcement, ambulance, and civil committees on the Hardeman County website.

His court date is scheduled for September 17.
