Justin Johnson was found guilty in the murder of Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., AKA Young Dolph.
The verdict was given on Thursday afternoon by the jury on three counts: first-degree murder, murderous conspiracy, and felon in possession of a firearm with a record.
He received a life sentence from the judge. The jury spent almost four hours deliberating.
In response to charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, first-degree murder, and convicted felon in possession of a firearm, Justin “Straight Drop” Johnson entered a not guilty plea.
Young Dolph was shot dead outside Makeda’s Cookies on November 17, 2021.
