As the holiday shipping season draws near, Amazon said on Thursday that it is hiring 3,000 people in Memphis for full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions.
The corporation intends to hire 250,000 people nationwide and 8,000 in Tennessee.
Since the business claims to have announced earlier this month its greatest compensation raise ever for hourly employees, the average base pay for Amazon jobs starts at more than $22 per hour.
