One juvenile was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a shooting outside Central High School in Midtown.
According to Memphis Police, the male victim was discovered in a parking lot when they arrived shortly before 3 p.m. The victim is in critical condition at Regional One.
A suspect was apprehended after being discovered in the vicinity. This is being described by police as a “targeted incident” involving a known suspect and victim.
The football field parking lot was the scene of the shooting.
The suspect was apprehended close to Bellevue Middle School and is thought to be a student.
