The U.S. Marshals Service apprehended an 18-year-old in Atlanta, Georgia, after authorities claim he was wanted for a Whitehaven murder that occurred earlier this year.
Demetrio Ceballos was allegedly charged with shooting and killing a man on Millbranch Road on March 25.
A search warrant for Ceballos’ arrest was issued on September 27. He faces charges of aggravated assault and first-degree murder.
Ceballos was apprehended without incident after being discovered in Atlanta on November 18. According to USMS, he is awaiting extradition to Memphis.
