The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department verified that an automobile accident in Marshall County over the weekend claimed the lives of two people.
A police pursuit involving one of the automobiles was the reason for the collision.
Deputies were called to a multi-vehicle collision between Dockery Drive and St. Paul Road shortly after 8 p.m on Saturday. On the scene, several victims were discovered.
30-year-old Jaqua Blueitt of Byhalia, Mississippi, and 63-year-old Michael Crutcher of Collierville, Tennessee, were the two victims that passed away.
The other two patients are now in critical condition after being transported to Regional One Hospital.
