Following a police pursuit in Midtown on Sunday, three juveniles have been taken into custody, and three other male suspects are still at large.
An MPD helicopter and police officers searched the Cooper-Young neighborhood for three escaped offenders.
A pursuit ensued after officers tried to stop the vehicles but they refused. A white 2014 Ford Mustang that had been carjacked crashed at the intersection of Sam Cooper Blvd. and E Parkway.
All three occupants were juveniles and were taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit.
On Sam Cooper and E Parkway, two cars were hit by the second suspect vehicle, a 2006 white four-door Toyota Avalon.
The car was found abandoned, and MPD is still on the search for the remaining three suspects
