Due to an Order of Suspension granted by the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Main Event Entertainment in Memphis will no longer sell alcohol.
Two shootings at Main Event within six months, one of which was fatal, led to the Order of Summary Suspension against the company.
A man was killed in a shooting at Main Event last July. After the shooting incident, the suspect was arrested and charged with murder.
This January, less than six months later, a shooting at the same site injured two people.
The commission said that they want to use a formal administrative hearing procedure to pursue the complete revocation of the establishment’s liquor license.
