On Tuesday morning, a car accident on Sam Cooper Boulevard at Highland Street resulted in two fatalities and left one man injured.
At 10:11 a.m., officers arrived at the scene of a four-vehicle collision on Sam Cooper Boulevard east and North Highland, resulting in the closure of all lanes.
One individual was transported to Regional One Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
This investigation is still in progress.
