Police say a man is now in jail after being charged with armed robbery and carjacking in the Nutbush area over the weekend.

Carjacking, aggravated robbery, avoiding arrest, and using a firearm with intent to commit a felony are among the charges against 18-year-old Dantabreil Hoskins.

According to officers, they were called to an Exxon gas station early on Sunday morning in connection with a carjacking.

Two of the three suspects managed to get away, leaving Hoskins to be arrested after a brief police chase.
