A suspect previously wanted for attempted murder, is now incarcerated with a bond set at $1.2 million following his escape attempt from a hospital.
34-year-old Amos Flemming was arrested on Monday for driving a stolen vehicle. He is now facing numerous charges, including Attempted First-Degree Murder and Escape from Felony Incarceration.
Flemming reportedly used a lighter to melt the plastic railing and free himself from his hospital bed at Regional One.
He attempted to escape the holding room, but he was locked inside and ultimately arrested.
He is currently detained with a total bond amounting to $1.2 million across various cases. He showed up in court on Tuesday morning.
