The National Weather Service posted on social media that Memphis International Airport received 5.47 inches of rain on Saturday.
It was one for the history books, as it marked the wettest day in April in Memphis. Their records date back to 1872.
Following four days of severe storms, the National Weather Service also published additional rainfall totals from the Mid-South.
East Memphis got 14.07 inches, Memphis International got 12.35 inches, West Memphis, AR got 10.00 inches and
Jonesboro, AR got 8.75 inches
